First things first. I love my husband…A LOT! For our one year wedding anniversary he commissioned Kelli Murray to do a painting of us. Kelli Murray has been my favorite artist for years and I just never thought I would have a painting from her! This is quite possibly the best gift I have ever been given. I just adore her birds, the stripes, the sort of sloppy backgrounds with the more refined subjects…ahh its all just so great and she couldn’t have made our hair more perfect! To top it all off, it is about 3 1/2 feet tall! I simply love everything about it. Our anniversary was in June but since we were going to California in August we decided to pick it up then. Since we were there we also did an engagement session for Kelli and Sam. Going back and putting this blog together just reminds me how much I want a tilt shift lens again!
